New Fitness Class
Starting March 1st Unit 2 Fitness will be offering a new fitness class:
Fitness 360 is a combination of agility training, resistance training, boot camp, and interval training. This class is designed to increase your strength, coordination, balance, quickness, power, and overall athleticism. This is an excellent addition to your training program that will increase your lean muscle.
Lean muscle is critical for your overall fitness. For every pound of fat, your body burns only 5 calories per day, but for every pound of muscle, your body burns between 35 to 50 calories per day. While cardio burns calories, weight training increases your metabolism.
Adding lean muscle will • Sculpt and tone your body • Help you lose weight • Change the shape of your body • Boost your strength and energy • Increase bone density to prevent osteoporosis • Increase blood circulation to combat cellulite on thighs and glutes
This class is offered Monday at 5:30 PM, Wednesday at 6:30 pm, Thursday at 5:30 PM, and Saturday at 10:00 AM. The class is $10 per month for exsiting Unit 2 members.
