Last week the team traveled to California to compete in the 2011 IBJJF Pan American Championships. This is one of the most prestigious and competitive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions in the world. The Pan Ams attract some of the best and fiercest BJJ practitioners in the world. For the past three months our team has been working hard doing 2 and 3 training sessions every day in preparation for this competition. The months of hard work and sacrifice paid off. We took 17 medals!!
